TS Police Support League, Inc. hired forty Greene County youth for summer jobs, assisting area businesses and local governments. “We thank each business and government office that afforded an opportunity to forty Greene County youth who earned extra money while learning valuable job skills,” said League President Sheila Smith. League Secretary/ Treasurer Billy McFarland said, “Special thanks to LaJeffery Carpenter who helped recruit the students and managed the program. We hope to have even more youth jobs next summer, all thanks to Sheriff Joe Benison for the opportunity to serve.”

COVID-19 Chinese Virus Emergency Relief Distribution in Eutaw
The TS Police Support League, in partnership with Sysco Foods of Birmingham and the Warrior Academy Foundation, provided an emergency relief distribution of food and supplies in Eutaw, Alabama this afternoon. Over $15,000.00 of merchandise was distributed in less than two hours, with over 200 vehicles served in a drive-through format.
League President Sheila Smith said, “We appreciate Sheriff Joe Benison for the continued opportunity to serve the greater Greene County region, especially during the Chinese COVID-19 Virus emergency.” #GreeneCountyStrong

SUPPORT FOR EUTAW POLICE DEPARTMENT CONTINUES
The T. S. Police Support League Inc. presented Eutaw Police Department Chief Derick Coleman with a check in the amount of $1000.00. The League has committed to continue providing funds monthly needed to defray transportation expenses incurred by the officers of the Eutaw Police Department. "These funds help to ensure our officers are able to go out and patrol our communities," said League President Sheila Smith. “We appreciate the officers putting their lives on the line that we might have an opportunity to live a quiet and peaceable life,” Smith continued. Chief Derick Coleman said these funds have been a tremendous help to the department in providing fuel and other supplies needed in day to day operations. "We are grateful and will continue to provide our citizens with the professional care that they have come to expect from this department,” said Chief Coleman.
New HVAC For Greene County Poole Public Library
TS Police Support League, Inc. President Sheila Smith presented a check to the Director of the Greene County Poole Public Library in Eutaw to pay for a new HVAC unit for the facility. Mrs. Smith said, “It is an honor to continue to support the library, which is a valuable resource for our community.”
